Great Spirit, with humbled hearts we gather together to send many thanks. We thank you for our relations that give us lessons to learn along our journey. We thank you for family and friends that support us along our path. We thank you for the many new friends we have met along the way as we journey together for a better world. We thank you for our elders that bring us wisdom and lessons that have been passed on from our ancestors. We thank you for our children that bring back forgotten lessons.
We ask for a great healing, Father. For those that are suffering through many diverse afflictions we ask that your healing hands be placed upon them. Many have not finished their paths and we ask that strength and straight eyes guide them. We ask for protection for all of our animal friends that are in danger from man this day. We ask for special protection be given to the sacred white animals that you have sent us. Open the eyes of those that would wish them harm and bring in love and compassion to replace the fear. We ask for protection and freedom for those of your children that have been wrongfully taken from their families. We ask for an answer to the many prayers that are going up to you this month, as well.
We thank you for the magnificent creation that surrounds us. May we learn to understand that all living things are connected in spirit. We thank you for Mother Earth and the many cures and life sustenance she provides us. We thank you for the Spirit World and for those that have passed on to that great expanse. We thank you for our ancestors whose words and deeds have shown us how to live during these troubling times. We thank you for your mercy, love and forgiveness, Great One. May we always heed your signs, words and wisdom that you freely give.
